Wow. That was fast! Honestly September was a lot of fun. The month started with a long weekend away with my family in the Thousand Islands. In the middle we went away for a few days with the girls to Lake Placid. Then ended with Louise turning one! In between I built a playhouse for the kids in the backyard. Honestly it was a really fun month with the family. I wasn't really able to get into learning much else. And that's okay! September was really great to recharge and I'm feeling really good.
What I've been building...
Most of the month I spent building the playhouse for Louise's birthday. You can read all about there here. Between the playhouse and travel I didn't have a whole lot of downtime to invest time in much else.
Another factor was I being really energized by some projects at work this month. I shipped an internal tool to speed up solution development for the team! I'm proud of releasing that one. It's not entirely polished, but it introduces some new ideas that can be tested out and see how it could be incorporated into the product. So, I'm excited to see where this little side project goes!
Peloton Stats
The first half of the month was great. I earned my first 60 day badge! Around the middle of the month I tweaked my back and had to slow down for a couple weeks. Lots of stretching and mobility. Recently I've been ramping up activity so here's to getting back on track next month.
My goal of 10,000 minutes this year with Peloton is in jeopardy a little bit, but here's to trying to get as close as I can to that goal!
